It’s time to upgrade to Google Analytics 4!

The July 1, 2023 deadline is fast approaching, and it’s critical that you upgrade your Universal Analytics property setting to Google Analytics 4 to avoid losing data (you’ll have until July 1, 2024 if you use Universal Analytics 360). The team at TrevNet is here to help make the move quick and easy for you.

Google Analytics 4 (GA4) is replacing Universal Analytics. On July 1, 2023 all standard Universal Analytics properties will stop processing data. (360 Universal Analytics properties with a current order will receive a one-time processing extension ending on July 1, 2024.)

Unlike the previous version, which only considers website data, GA4 tracks and integrates website and app data into one Analytics account. Google also updated the data architecture and collection methods to reflect current changes in the way customers use technology.

How to Upgrade to Google Analytics 4

Like any new tool, GA4 can be confusing, or maybe even a bit intimidating. If your website(s) has google analytics installed, then you should contact us right away to see if you need to upgrade. We’re in the process of reaching out to all our clients running Google Analytics 3 to assist with the upgrade, but feel free to reach out if you have any questions.
